Congratulations to Brandon Rubendall and the cast of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. Word on the street is that this brilliant cast started to rehearse their web-slinging this week. We for one certainly can’t wait to see what Julie Taymor and the rest of the team are cooking up! Previews begin November 14th with an opening slated for December 21st 2010.
It’s been the talk of the town and now it’s finally open – consalutations to the cast of Green Day’s American Idiot! Among its’ list of Broadway up-n-coming cast members is the lovely and uber talented Leslie McDonel – she fully werked it out in front of our camera and now can be see showin’ off her rock AND roll 8 times a week at the St. James Theater.

They also just so happen to be no-joke dancers, having racked up more than their fair share of Broadway and 1st Nationals Touring companies – they’re the real deal when it comes to twirlin’ and kickin’, ya’ll! As if that wasn’t enough, they’ve now embarked on choreography and master classes for the people, and believe us, they preach what they practice…

Emily Loftiss’s Birthday party is always a rip-roaring good time, whether it be the theme that inspires you to break out that uber-chic come-rediculous wig and pantsuit combo that was given to you by your Auntie, or the fact that Miss Loftiss holds court like no else. There is never a dull moment or empty cocktail glass.

When we were invited to shoot Lilias White at the Triad as part of the Just A Piano series produced by Lee Summers, nothing could have prepared us….really! It’s no wonder this god-woman has been a namesake and inspiration to the broadway community for literally decades – and we’re here to tell ya, kids, she’s still got it. Talk about fun, sass, class, and spirit, all wrapped up in a juicy candy-coating of holler…
So, Katie Holmes performed C’mon Get Happy a la Judy Garland on the 100th episode of SYTYCD. You know, good for her, she gave her best twirl out there, no doubt…we’d just rather watch the real deal. We thought you would, too.
