STYLE: Come all ye neutrals, plated and Star Wars-ish…
It’s been a hot minute since a designer has splashed onto the scene and made the masses (including us) give a “what what” on the runway. Aside from making neutral tones live like a technicolor futuristic’s dream, Canadian designer Todd Lynn is boldly taking jacket silhouettes (metallic shoulder plates? – um, yes please!), ornamental fringes and draping to a rather impressive place.
And in case you didn’t believe us that Todd is turning heads, just ask Janet, Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty…

How to SMIZE!
Sure, Tyra may have coined the action of smiling with your eyes as “Smize”, but ’tis all agreed, a healthy one will always create an immediate warm connection with your viewer…
If you’re successful, there should be a different smize for each thought that transforms your expression from one of “meh” to one of “aaaah…”
Practice it, know it and bring it when you come play with the The Sugar Club – you’ll get a good “WELL, ‘SCUSE US!” from ds, and a whole lotta good “MMMMMmmm’s!” from your finished product!

How to: Know your angles
We give you: Girl In a Dress by Patricia Field – take one.
Hm. She look’s like she’s trying to work it out, but it’s not happening as she’d like it to. You can tell from her face she’s just…not…quite…argh…there yet.
But then looky-here – she lowers her chin, changes the angle of her face, relaxes her shoulders, turns her right hip slightly more towards the camera and you get:
BAM! Oh, well ‘SCUSE US! Yes, honey, make that dress look real cute and couture, why don’t you?!
Just goes to show you – minor angle adjustments can take you from “work” to “werk!” with minor effort. Wearing this dress and getting away with it, however, is another story…
